  1. Hi Megan,
Welcome! You did a really great job defining your theory of learning. Have you read any of the work of Howard Gardner? His theory on Multiple Intelligence will be interesting for you :)
Now, I think you never really lived on a farm in Iowa...am I right?
    Cheers!

    1. Yes. I took several undergrad classes that addressed his teachings, and philosophies.

  3. Hey Megan!
I'm gonna have to go with you're not from a farm in Iowa. Great post though! You're thoughts on the distractions a student may face! I just moved this weekend, so I know all about distractions and having many other things to worry about (like plumbing, electrical, etc). Looking forward to learning along with you this semester!

Hello! Megan I really enjoyed your wonderful blog that you design. Thank you for given vital information on the learning process as a teacher, and also the way students learn differently, as well as being distracted by things. As a teacher you will have to update learning information throughout your career. As we take on the role of teaching we must motivate our student like you have mention before with different learning styles for them. We know that every student may not processes information in the same way as other student. Different people have different styles of learning styles. However we must come up with ways to encourage student to take on these learning styles for a greater ability to comprehend this different technique. When we learn, there is a fundamental different in the way we take in data and communicate that information to others. You also mention that students can get distracted when it comes to them learning. Student can come distracted in so many ways like their environment, things at home and at school.

For your statement: I don’t believe you grew up on a farm in Iowa
